One suffering of Christ, the physical pain that came from ebery sin ever commited, was shown very thoughtfully and very clearly throughout the whole scene. There was also another suffering, the fact that he knew that people not return his love for them, despite the total sacrifice that he had made for them. This truly was a pain for Christ, because Christ's love is like the Father's, and the love of God is so intense, so amazing that we could never begin to understand the depths of it. Imagine loving someone so deeply, so wonderfully, that you would literally do anything for them, and then them not even wanting to acknowledge your existence when you stand right in front of them. That was christ's suffering, but only tenfold, in a way we can never know. To great for us to imagine, comprehend, and nothing like it. For a moment, just think about this "Christ died for us to live." You hear it every Sunday in church, but have you ever considered the though? Its just amazing, and is just so powerful, yet the world takes it for granted. And how Sovereign is our God? Amazing... Amazingly powerful. "No other God but you." Think about your life, who is number 1 in your life. Can you truthfully say God is number 1 in your liofe? Or are you caught up in other things? As Christians we need to rise above the hypocracy and show people that we have something, the holy spirit. Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 1996.

The Lord Speaks

38 Then the Lord answered Job out of the storm. He said:

2 “Who is this that darkens my counsel

with words without knowledge?

3 Brace yourself like a man;

I will question you,

and you shall answer me.

4 “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?

Tell me, if you understand.

5 Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!

Who stretched a measuring line across it?

6 On what were its footings set,

or who laid its cornerstone—

7 while the morning stars sang together

and all the angels shouted for

joy?

While Job was not commanded to make a sacrifice for sin, his insistence on bringing his case before God was presumptuous. He wanted to declare his innocence before God and be given an explanation for the events and trials in his life.

Then God answered. I doubt Job expected God to respond, much less the manner of response. God did not begin with reasons or an invitation for Job’s defense. God demanded answers from Job.

He begins by telling Job that man cannot match wits or knowledge with God. Job has brought darkness to God’s purpose. He has refused to see God and God’s plan in the proper light. God underscores Job’s ignorance by asking questions that no man can answer.

These questions continue for several chapters. God reminds Job of how small man is and how big God is. Job needed the reminder. And so do we.

When life’s troubles visit our door, our first response is to cry out “why!” and demand a reason from a sovereign God. Would the answer really make the trouble better? Rather than ask why, Job learns that sometimes God himself and a right relationship is the only answer we get. And the only answer we need.

Job reviews God’s charges in chapter 42, and he repents of his attitude. He tells God that while he had heard of God, now he has seen God in the proper light. Job now envisions God to be as big as He really is. Job repents and relies on God to be, well, to be God.

Even when trouble crashes down on us, we can rest in the knowledge that God is big enough, is good enough, and strong enough to see us through. Next time life tosses a problem your way, let your relationship with God see you through.

Believe it or not, the trouble will go away. God and the eternal reward that He has promised His children will never go away. Put your trust in the Lord.

Come To Jesus

"Come To Me..." (Mathew 11:28)

Throughout our Walk with Christ, this is one thing we need to keep in remberance. As long as we walk the path of Christ, then we will, indeed be walking towards Jesus. God just doesn't put us on the road and say "Hang a left at the burning bush, through the Garden of Eden (but please don't eat the apples.) and left past Jerusalem." Then completly abandon us. The Holy Spirit is with us though out our entire walk. One of my peers once said "God will never put you in a situation, and leave you to figure your way out." How true that is! Sometimes as Christians we might think the Holy Spirit has indeed abandoned us, when we shouldnt think that to begin with, but instead know in faith, that God is with us. If you think God has called you to do his work, then abondoned you, You are completly wrong. You may say, "But God, I havn't seen anyone(s) life been changed because of my actions." But remeber you maynot see it until years down the road. They try to find the simplest flaws in us, and use it against us. Our words also matter, but as the song said, our actions as christians, speak louder than our words. Currently our youth group is undertaking a proces to distibute 5000 bibles by Feburary, a God-sized task. So dont you think people will pay more attention to that? Than a christian saying I'm a christian. They yern to see something more in the christian faith, than just words. because they think "well i can say that, so whats so different about them?" If they see us carrying our acts in the name of our faith they WILL get more interested, and want to know more of God, and Jesus Christ. So as you go to school tomorrow, remeber that your actions do speak louder than your words. Try to change your attitude toward that.

Fly With Christ
-Tyler

Promclaiming For Gospel, or Envy?

"These proclaim Christ out of Love, knowing that I have been put here for the defense of the gospel; the others proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerly but intending to increase my suffering in my imprisionment" Phillipians 1:15-17

Some people proclaim Christ purely out of jelousy towards other people, in an attempt to destroy them in the name of God. Supertones called "Adonai"

One purpose is to worship and to make the body strong
I don't care about your haircut, can't we all just get along?
Not just get along, but to really love and care
If your eyes are on the Lord you can't see nobody's hair

Welcome To iWorship

Hello, and welcome to iWorship.
